Hi Choice Community, thanks for all your comments, I’m so pleased to discover I’m not the only one driven to distraction by all of life’s unnecessary beeping! May your holidays be filled with pleasant sounds, like laughter and music, and may any presents you receive be quiet ones! I’m going to spend at least some of my downtime trying to disable those alarming alarms on my gadgets and set myself up for a beep-free new year.

You just reminded me of another…hotel electronic key locks that beep on entry. Whilst in the day other noises maks the beeps, in the dead of night they become earpiercing beeps that travel a long way up corridors, through doors to those trying to sleep.

We don’t have anything with annoying beeps despite a lot of our appliances beeping whn finished.
However I do find that saying “Beep Beep” works great when I need our little dog to hop out of the way.
