This is enlightening! I always knew that prepacked meats and fish had some tolerance but thought it had to be on the upside for we consumers. Apparently not. It pays to weigh! And complain if one is found to be off like the example in the report.
We just checked our 1kg ‘e’ of Woolies mince and it came to 1.044kg inclusive of packaging.
