The top of ceiling fan blades can get pretty messy…Fridge coils ? You’d have to unscrew the cover on new ones but I do roll it out from time to time and the grills on the back are usually covered in spider webs and it’s quite amazing how much detritus is underneath.

I’m really grateful for this advice. I just never even thought about the back of the fridge. So thank you.

Note that some modern fridges don’t have coils on the back and the heat exchanges are located within the external walls (usually side walls) of the fridge. Just check where they are for the make and model you have. User manuals or manufacturer websites sgould have that information.

Inbuilt ones (in the walls) can be wiped from time to time with a damp cloth as they can still accumulate smalls amount of dust through fridge cycles.
