I definitely like this concept as a renter formerly with solar at home I see the financial unfairness and growing financial inequality between those that can access solar and those that cannot.
My bill with solar was $40 quarter without $500+ quarter. Making the possibility of getting out of the rental tap growing out of reach.

Not exactly solar but potentially a way to make it ‘better’ for some owner-occupied apartment dwellers or empathetic landlords, at least in areas with ‘sponge’ tariffs.
