Slight foolishness from Choice

This review of cake tins says the negatives are:

• May need soaking and light scrubbing, surface can scratch easily with gentle scrubbing.
• No instructions.

I am at a loss to understand what instructions there might be with a cake tin and how that alters its usefulness. Possibly:

  • Care! This product may be hot when taken out of the oven!

  • Do not wear this product on your head when you go shopping as Pastafarians may be offended.

  • Be sure to remove the cake before recycling.

  • May contain nuts or milk products.

A cake tin is a relatively straightforward kitchen item, so I understand the sentiment. I had a look through the review and came across this as an example of a tin that offered comprehensive instructions:

Maybe there’s a better way we can express this in the future, I’ll be sure to pass it on to our product testers for consideration.
