Unfortunately Scamwatch post regular updates on Twitter and there seems to be a lag before the same information is updated to their website. While not ideal, at least they use Twitter to warn the community of new and emerging scams so hopefully, the number of Australians caught by the scammers are reduced.

Unfortunately they don’t have a Facebook or Instagram profile. It would make sense for them to have profile on such platforms, especially since these platforms seem to attract scammers as a place to prey on potential victims.

Seems pretty much up to date to me. Looking on https://www.scamwatch.gov.au/

The ATO super scam alert isn’t on their website…but appears on the right as a link to Twitter. One has to click on the Twitter link (same as posted by @Fred123 above) and enter the Twittersphere, to read all the details.

As indicated above, there is a lag from when a Twitter post becomes a alert or news on their website. The ScamWatch news and alerts page is here…
