Samsung has finally provided an explanation for the bizarre update issue that left thousands of phones “wiped”. It seems a fix is to be rolled out, but I’m still unclear as to whether it’s safe to take up the current update which may have security updates. I guess a defensive backup wouldn’t go astray.
