What are the defects?

A top tether anchorage point has been incorrectly fitted on the front passenger seat, allowing a child seat to be installed.

What are the hazards?

If a child seat is installed into the front passenger seat without the airbag system being deactivated, there is a risk of serious injury to the child.

What should consumers do?

Peugeot Australia will contact all known owners by mail and advise them to present their vehicle to their preferred authorised Peugeot dealer to have the top tether anchorage point removed from the front passenger seat.
