I find it incredible that the motorists must make a claim to get the refund that they are entitled to instead of Service NSW simply sending a refund to them or providing a credit on their registration renewal notice.
THey know how many persons there are and where they live.
Perhaps they are hoping that many will not claim by the deadline and the Government can keep the money.

The Turnbull Government took it a step further by issuing thousands of erroneous Centrelink overpayment debts in the hope that people would blindly pay or not receive.benefits while proving the falsehood.
