What are the defects?
The fuel pump module may not have been manufactured properly and may bind internally, restricting or stopping fuel to the engine.
What are the hazards?
If fuel flow is restricted or stopped, the engine may stall during driving and the vehicle may not restart, increasing the risk of an accident and injury or death to vehicle occupants or other road users.
What should consumers do?
When parts become available consumers will be advised to contact their Nissan Dealer to organise to have the work carried out at no cost.
