Wow. This is bad.
Software update process compromises seem to be all the rage this year.
A compromise in password management software is extra bad - since the exploit can potentially yield a flood of follow-on compromises.
This is all bad because we tell everyone:
- Always keep your software up to date.
- Always use strong, unique passwords everywhere - and use password management software to keep track of all the passwords.
