What are the defects?
The product does not comply with the mandatory standard ‘Consumer Goods (Basketball Rings and Backboards) Safety Standard 2017’.
The product was not supplied with the required warning labels.
What are the hazards?
There is a risk of injury to the user if the stand is not properly installed or the user swings off the ring.
What should consumers do?
Kogan Australia will contact consumers to provide the required warning stickers and instructions on how to affix them to the product. If consumers are unable to affix the warning stickers, Kogan Australia will organise a technician to affix the stickers.
