Issues with tissues - to flush or not to flush?

My plumber has told me that even cotton-based toilet paper contributes to his income.
But I must say I haven’t seen any on the shelves lately. Is it still available?

I appears that the Kleenex Cottonelle Toilet Tissue is no longer available. It doesn’t appear on the Kleenex website.

In line with @phb’s comment, Kimberly-Clark’s Australian-made Kleenex Cottonelle toilet paper is still listed on the Woolworths website but is flagged as “temporarily unavailable”, and Coles do not list it at all. Kimberly-Clark claimed that it was safe for use with septic tanks, but if your plumber is correct, maybe that claim was misleading like those made for some of the so-called flushable wipes.

STOP IT!
DO NOT FLUSH!
The toilet is not a rubbish bin. People grudgingly accepted the ban on single use plastic shopping bags for the betterment of environment and animals. But some are happy to replace bags with tissues and wipes.
