It reads to me that the “Influencer” is using blame avoidance. They tried to make sure others weren’t infected or had come into contact with someone who was (a good start) but then it begins…it was the friend who didn’t tell them…they aren’t angry at anyone because the whole Country has it…she just wanted to hang out with her friends…and so on, it appears to me to be a a litany of failures by the person to actually take responsibility for their behaviour to stay at least 6 feet from everyone else. If they had kept their distance perhaps they may have avoided the problem but from what I read in the article it seems this was not the case. Then from the story her quote “But it’s really not that bad” may be the case for her but if she has had it and transmitted it to more vulnerable it may be very bad for them.
