This ties in with a number of existing topics, so I reckon it deserves one of its own. Hydrogen is just a carrier of energy. While there’s probably a market ( and jobs), it’s not the only way that Australia’s natural advantages can be exploited. Proposals for HVDC transmission to our northern neighbours show another. Giant, floating batteries might be still another.
