The NSW Food Authority advises:
David Jones is conducting a recall of David Jones Belgian Chocolate Brownie, due to the presence of an undeclared allergen (tree nuts [walnuts]).
The recalled product has been available for sale at David Jones food stores in New South Wales and Victoria.
Product details & date markings:
David Jones Belgian Chocolate Brownie, 60g and 270g, food grade U-card in plastic flow wrap
Best Before dates: 15NOV19 and 21NOV19
Problem: The recall is due to the presence of an undeclared allergen (tree nuts [walnuts]).
Food safety hazard: Any consumers who have a tree nut (walnut) allergy or intolerance may have a reaction if this product is consumed.
Country of origin: Australia
What to do: Consumers who have a tree nut (walnut) allergy or intolerance should not consume this product and should return the product to the place of purchase for a full refund. If you are concerned about your health, you should seek medical advice.
