1- One of my key criteria is the unoccupancy duration. Rarely upfront, always have to look at the PDS detail. It would be good for we senior people & those taking LSL for Choice to list that in the table. I settled on a policy with 60 days standard with extension option. Most others I looked at were 30 days.
2- One of the largest distributors of almost everything, including insurance is not in the comparison list. Of course that’ll be Australia Post. After the experience with AAMI outlined in an older post, I moved to AustPosts Contents Insurance. My neighbour recommended. Not sure how the policy stacks up with the others, but the PDS detail satisfied my mostly undemanding insurance requirements.
