The Australian Energy Regulator (AER), Consumer Engagement Group (CRG) has posted some questions on energy prices and regulation. Some responders have asked about consumer voices and advocacy in regulatory processes.

In addition the regulator (the Australian Energy Regulator) has been working on different ways of giving consumers a voice. One example is the NEWREG project (https://www.aer.gov.au/networks-pipelines/new-reg launched in June 2017 to explore ways to improve sector engagement and identify opportunities for regulatory innovation.
There are other schemes in operation as well
