A couple of articles claiming that the lives of chocolate Labradors are shorter than golden or black Labradors.
Well they do advise that chocolate is no good for dogs. but I always though they were talking about the edible type, not the colour.

Very interesting. A little while back we did a piece on flat-faced dog breeds, I’ll be sure to flag this issue for future attention.
And yes, chocolate in a no-no for dogs but most pet stores will carry a number of canine-friendly treats
