Checking Eggs For Freshness

An article regarding testing eggs for freshness in case anyone is not aware of the process.

I have been doing this for decades by placing the eggs in the sink filled with around 100mm of water.

However, if an egg tilts towards standing vertically, out it goes, let alone any that float.
