What are the defects?

Due to a fault in the welding process, a weld seam on the front axle was not welded properly.

What are the hazards?

The incorrect welding can lead to a complete separation of the right hand side tension strut, resulting in loss of steering control.

Sudden loss of steering control increases the risk of accident, causing serious injury or death to vehicle occupants and/or other road users.
