We are in the process of replacing the clapped-out, jury-rigged sand filter for our swimming pool and have received a new filter and multiport valve in readiness.
Whilst sand is obviously no longer the go to media for sand filters, it is unclear whether zelbrite or glass is the best choice.
I am leaning towards zelbrite as it is readily available but would like to hear of other members choices or experiences.
