AUST R and AUST L Declaration and explanation

With the increase in pressure on having food health star ratings improved (a good idea) especially with exposing hidden sugar where its not obviously thought about, I wonder if its not also the time to improve the awareness on supplement type “medications”. Things like vitagummies are obviously an easy target, but looking at the range of products which fall into the category often attached to the disclaimer of “…may assist…” and “… traditionally used…” etc there are a lot of pseudo official looking tablets on shelves in chemists which are being offered as if they are medicinal.

I believe that advertisements should end with a clear declaration of “This product is AUST L or AUST R certified. For more information about AUST L and AUST R registration please see https://www.tga.gov.au/how-we-regulate-medicines” for example.
