An article regarding an Aussie farming couple developing the world’s first smoked raw eggs.
Whilst buying Yamagishi eggs at our local Supa IGA today, I noticed that they now stock The Smoked Egg Company’s six packs of cold smoked raw eggs so I bought one to try.
They are available at IGA and “all quality retailers”.
Not showing up on Coles or Woollies websites so they musn’t qualify as “quality retailers”.
I will post what they taste like after we sample them for breakfast tomorrow.
I’d stick with the Yamagishi eggs. One thing we miss about no longer living in the far north of Qld. I’m also not giving up bacon, no matter how good the smoked eggs are.
