Thats good. Considering switching to them even though I already started at Family Search.
I think we all understand this, but Ancestry charges nearly 2x more than other places. MyHeritage, for example, will give access to everywhere, not just Oz and UK, for about the same price as Ancestry’s OZ and UK. I dunno… I think they are making massive profits, and much of it is also based on the information brought to the platform by individuals. I know that my own parents and grandparent photos have been saved to other people’s trees… and will be there for posterity, even though I have now deleted my own trees.
I agree and feel that if the information is used to build the database then ancestry should reduce usage fees as contributors are adding information and could improve membership size for the future. Just a thought.
