COVID-19 personal protective equipment (PPE) & precautions

This is a minimum distance and most would realise that greater distance would be preferable. From the information out there, it is also set for longer exposure times such in an office, education or workplace where individuals are generally located closer together for extended duration.

It should also be recognised that the 1.5m separation is not a measure in isolation, but works with the other controls specified by medical specialists/virologists.

There will also be times that the minimum separation can’t be achieved, a good example is passing another shopper in a aisle of a supermarket. In such cases, one hopes that the other shopper has implemented all other controls to prevent community based transmissions.

Most of us also don’t carry a tape measure to measure their 'anti’social distance rule and if one is concerned, it is best to overestimate the distance than to take a punt you have it right or spot on.

What do you mean a trip in June? The imperative is NO TRAVEL! Not intra-State, not inter-state and certainly not overseas.

Dont tell me! Tell the person who asked!

So I had to go to Coles this morning. The trip was a success, I was able to get everything I needed. The lass on the checkout was wiping everything down, after every customer, and she gave us the bags to fill, ourselves, which I did not mind. The in store sanitiser seems to be decent. I wore my fugly black mask that I got from Amazon at the beginning of bushfire season. It drew many odd looks but also some good comments and questions.

Its this one https://www.amazon.com.au/BASE-CAMP-Dust-Pollution-Mask/dp/B07RLLCJZF/

I may not really bther with Woolies home delivery until they can seriously do priority shopping for those of us who are supposed to be staying home (over 70 and diseased, that is)
